The following Saturday events are open to the public and take place at the Junior Center of Art and Science (unless otherwise indicated). Fourth Annual Crab Dinner & Auction Fundraiser

At the Officer’s Club at the Alameda Naval Base	R.S.V.P. by April 10, 2009 The Junior Center of Art and Science cordially invites you to the fourth annual Crab Dinner & Auction to benefit the to benefit the JCAS School Outreach Programs and Scholarship Fund. Earth Day Celebration @ the Junior Center
April 18, 2009	11:00am - 2:00pm
	$3 per person (in advance) $5 per person (day of event) Children under 2 free. Celebrate the Earth with a fun-filled day of science and art activities designed to share information about how to live more harmoniously with nature. The Science of Ice Cream & Chocolate @ the Junior Center
May 16, 2009	11:00am - 2:00pm
	$5 per person (in advance) $8 per person (day of event) A tasty event which explores the science of making chocolate and ice cream. Participants of all ages are invited to enjoy hands-on science experiments and art activities. Treats from Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream and Ghiradelli Chocolates will be featured at tasting stations. Rocket Science Workshop @ the Junior Center
March 7, 2009	11:00am - 2:00pm
	$5 per person (in advance) $8 per person (day of event) Explore the power of water and air pressure through a series of fun experiments and activities. 7th Annual Star Party @ the Junior Center
October 4, 2008	6:00 - 8:00pm	Free
